The Proof is in The Water

Normally I can't stand getting ads in my inbox but one came through today from Amazon and I think it was more of one of those "messages" trying to reach it's way to me.  The ad was for a new book by Dr. Masaru Emoto who originally wrote the book "The Hidden Messages In Water".  He's actually written many books and his brand new one is, "Water Crystal Healing")

I was reminded today once again of the importance of joy and creating "good vibrations".  Dr.  Emoto's  book "The Hidden Messages In Water" physically demontstrates the power of our good vibrations.   I orignally heard of his study in the movie "What The Bleep Do We Know?" and ran out and  bought the book the next day.  It was utterly fascinating.  You wouldn't believe it but to see the photographs of these ice crytals that he has documented.

Masaru Emoto was scientifically able to prove that different vibrations aimed at water create very distinct ice crystal patterns.  Good/Postive vibrations create extremely beautiful, geometric and ornate crytals while bad/negative vibrations create "ugly", ungeomtric crystals.  Ultimately Dr. Emoto has proven that optimal well-being literally comes from good vibrations. 

Dr. Emoto brings to light the point that if our body is made up of approx. 60-70% of water what happens then to our bodies if we are not vibrating anything other than good/postive/calm/relaxed vibrations?  What happens to our bodies when we internalize anger or put ourselves down?

Water is of major importance to all living things; in some organisms, up to 90 percent of their body weight comes from water. Up to 60 percent of the human body is water, the brain is composed of 70 percent water, and the lungs are nearly 90 percent water. About 83 percent of our blood is water, which helps digest our food, transport waste, and control body temperature. Each day humans must replace 2.4 litres of water, some through drinking and the rest taken by the body from the foods eaten.

Kind of gets ya thinking doesn't it?

I talk so much about power of joy and its ability to help us manifest but this little reminder today drove it even deeper for me as to why it's so important to radiate and follow your joy.... even to our physical body. 

I think that if we don't start from the inside out... starting with our physical selves.....it makes getting those good vibes out into the Universe that much more difficult.  Your transmitter (You)to the Universe doesn't function 100%.  Does a transmitter to the Universe that doesn't function 100% then truly work?

I think today I realized that I think that I've been sending good vibes out to the Universe because I always try and follow my joy... 95% of the time I am but if I tell the truth there's a part of me that talks ugly to myself... where I get down on myself about my weight.  I'm therefore creating some pretty "ugly crystals" inside myself... could be a lot... and therefore may make me not an optimal transmitter to the Universe.

Buddah says, "All that we are is a result of what we thought."  What have you been thinking about yourself?  What kind of "crytals"  are you composed of... beautiful, geometric  and ornate  ones... or "ugly" ones?    How functional/optimal is your transmitter ? 

What Manifesting Looks Like

I came across this picture from the ThinkTQ newsletter and it illustrates just how I picture manifesting in my mind ~ of turning the intangible into the tangible ~ bringing the ethereal to the real:

   

I also really love this picture.  It is a screen shot from The Secret's  'The Secret to Riches Visualization Tool' (link is to previous post with the movie embed).  It's taken right after the scene where the young man rubs the genie lamp.  It's as if God is the big Genie in the sky to give you what you ask for.  In this scene God/Universe/Big Genie (hee hee.... we can call him "The Big G")  says, "Your wish is my command.".

Be Like A Sunflower!

The second post I wrote when I started the Prosperity Happens blog was titled Why Sunflowers & Seeds?.  I talked about why it was that I chose sunflowers and seeds for the design of the blog and their symbolic significance.  One of the more interesting facts about sunflowers is that they turn their 'heads' to follow the sun.  That's why they're called sunflowers. 

The more that I continue to write and the more that I learn about myself I see even more so the symbolism of the sunflower for me... and for prosperity consciousness as well.

Probably the single most important thing that I've learned about prosperity consciousness, laws of attraction and manifesting abundance is the power of joy.  And, interestingly today I came across this wonderful, wonderful quote that revealed more beautiful symbolism between ourselves and sunflowers as well as the important significance of joy:

Ooooohhh .... that's good stuff!

How Big Is Your Basket?

I noticed another very interesting thing when I was writing yesterday's post Close Dream - Far Away Dream.  I wrote a sentence that said, "I pictured how I would carry $100 bucks on me instead of a wad of damp crumpled up dollar bills in my back pocket.".

If I tell the truth when I originally wrote that sentence I wrote $50 bucks instead of $100 bucks.  That felt natural, attainable and believable for me.  But something told me to put $100 instead and I then I suddenly became keenly aware of my feelings.  I suddenly felt tight and found myself holding my breath.  I  sat there for a minute trying to decide if I should put it back to $50. Then I stopped and listened to what my mind was saying and this is some of what I heard:

- "Don't put that... That's ridiculous."

- "Pleeeaase. $100 bucks?  You wish."

- "Put something that's realistic."

- "If only."

- "That sure would be nice but that probably isn't going to happen for me especially not anytime soon."

- "Me?  Carrying around $100 all the time just because I can?  It would certainly be nice but why don't I just tell the truth."

- "Me?  Carrying around $100 all the time?  C'mon .... me?"

- "That sure would be nice but it seems so far away that it's almost laughably unbelievable."

- "I wasn't meant to be a part of the richy-rich crowd."

- "Wishful thinking for sure!"

So... what's especially odd about that little instance is that I wrote that in the same post talking about how I could actually believe making $100,000 year... and how I could actually, for the first time, feel real feelings of how it would be to have that kind of a income with few to no but's and P.S's getting in the way.  However, within the same breath I found myself not able to believe carrying around $100 in my pocket.  Huh?   What's that about?!!

Here's my theory that I've been carrying around for awhile on this.  I believe that within all of our but's and P.S's there can be many layers.  Some deeper than others. We can hear the top layers loud and clear but the ones buried further down become harder and harder to hear.... the little voice becomes fainter and fainter.  The further down ones, although difficult to hear, are still in fact sending out a vibration.  Sometimes the layer is so deep that we don't even hear it at all.

So, sometimes as we work to remove our but's and P.S's around a particular limiting belief we find that once you've got one removed the next layer pops up to rear it's ugly head... and again we must do our work to remove the but's and P.S's from the newly exposed limiting belief.

My best friend's father and spiritual guru, Dennis Robillard, once gave this analogy that helps me picture this:  It's like those plate stacks at a cafeteria.  You take the one off the top and then the rest move up.

Or, if the onion anlagy works for you then use that one.  But the point is is that many times (most of the time) it's not just one single zig-zag line between us and our desires.  It's usually several or many zig-zag lines all stacked on one another between us and our desires.  Can you see how dense that line can become?  And, how difficult that makes it to be able to even clearly see our dreams much less believe them and feel them.  I'm tellin' ya... I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's a miracle that we ever manifest a thing!

So, what this little lesson reveals for me is that even though I was successfully able to remove a big layer/plate the next one popped up.  And, I believe too that some of our layers are certainly thicker than others.  I like to believe that our biggest and hardest ones are the ones at the top.  Those are the ones that are screamin' at us the loudest.

This little lesson also reminds me of a valuable lesson I learned some time ago about "How big is your basket?".   Are you walking around carrying a basket that can only hold $50 or is your basket so big that you have to use a trailer to haul the thing around?

We limit ourselves by the size of our baskets.  We'll be given no more than our basket can hold.  Is it time to trade in your little basket for a big ol' honkin' one?  They're free, afterall.  Pick any one you want and for goodness sake don't hold back and don't feel guilty for picking the biggest one they've got.  And, if you do have some guilty feelings when picking then it's time to work on removing some layers!!

And, if for any reason you find some plates in your basket... start taking 'em out!  If you don't remove them there's no place to put all that money!

Dream Stealers and Joy Robbers

Saddening to me that there are these kinds of people in this world.  It's amazing the power these kinds of people can have over us and how devestating they can be especially to people chasing a dream.

Yesterday I was absolutely buzzing with joy and out of nowhere popped a "Joy Robber".   This same lady that I mentioned in yesterday's post who was so nice and roared with paise over my son's web site wrote me back a second time and absolutely slammed me. Huh?  She absolutely spewed wicked and nasty venom at me.  Wow.  I came crashing down in little pieces.   

I don't know exactly who wrote this but this is his definition of a "Dream Stealer" ("Joy Robber" fits here perfectly too):

        "A dream stealer is a person from whom negativity emits, and nothing else.  A person who voices faults found in every ideal.  Existing does not seem a wise basis to determine if announcement is appropriate. This thief will without regard for the, for lack of a better word, feelings of others, opens his or her big mouth and shatter hope, aspiration, and dreams."

I have to remind myself that there must be a greater reason or purpose for these kinds of people in this world.

It is amazing how much of a devestating impact these kinds of people have on us.  Have you ever had an instance where someone was rude, ugly, nasty or mean to you?  It irks me that we'll remember those folks forever.  Right?  I bet when I asked that question someone immediately flashed into your mind ... and you could picture it very clearly.

That same guy that wrote about what dream stealers are also said, "For some reason, there is a bitterness associated with dream stealers.  It frequently exhibits itself as constant cynicism and hypocrisy.  I can only assume sometime in the past a gigantic dream was stolen, and the lack of positive association permitted negativity to take over.  At first it doesn't seem bad, just rotten days.  Then rotten weeks and rotten months.  Soon there's rottenness everywhere.  In everything they do.  From how they walk to how they speak to how they hold their utensils."

Which reminds me of the most important message I have ever learned.  And it clearly explains the writer's "for some reason".  It comes from Greg Baer, MD author of "Real Love" :

        "In order to be happy, what we all want more than anything else is to feel loved. Even the Beatles knew that—"All you need is love"—but not just any kind of love will do. We need Real Love—unconditional love. It's Real Love when other people care about our happiness without any concern for themselves. When we make our foolish mistakes, when we don't do what they want, or even when we inconvenience them personally, they're not disappointed or angry."

I am reminded how it actually makes me sad for dream stealers and joy robbers (and other not-so-nice-folks)... they are angry because they are missing and longing for unconditional love.  I think to myself when I run into these kinds of people, "What must have happened to you?  Look at this little child crying out to be loved."

Yet, even though I know this I cannot deny that it still stings like a mutha when they zap you. 

I guess my point is...on our own we have to work soooooooo hard to remove our but's and P.S's to clear out the interference between ourselves and our desires.  Just when we get ourselves lined up and in a straight line we have to be EXTREMELY strong in the face of dream stealers and joy robbers.  They can, in a mili-second, put us right back at square one and make the journey back doubly hard...because now they serve to validate our original doubts and fears.  Our original interference of doubt, but's and P'Ss becomes even more convoluted and zig-zagged because it's not just our own voice of self-doubt we hear... we hear their's as well.   Imagine if you had 3 or 4 or 5 dream stealers or joy robbers amongst you.  It's a miracle that any of us ever manifest a thing.

You HAVE to remember that these people are very very very sad people that so deeply miss the feeling of being UNCONDITIONALLY loved.  I think when they see someone experiencing joy or chasing a dream that their inner 3 yr. old comes and sticks their tongue out at you.

Does it hurt?  Hell ya.  Does it knock you down?  Yup.  But, you CANNOT let it keep you down.  You have to remember the source from which their comments truly stem.  Now, when this kind of thing happens I just ask for The Father's hand and say, "Please send love to this person". 

And, if at all possible...you must rid yourself of these kind of people from your life if they are not strangers.  Easier said than done but get to know the power of surrounding yourself with positive, happy, upbeat and joyful people.  These are the folks that will help propel you towards your dreams... and give you unconditional love when you need to pout because you had a run in with a dream stealer or a joy robber.

I mimic the words of the mystery writer who said, "I do know one thing; the next person who tries to steal my dream can pry it from my cold, dead hands."

A Pink Bra Says It All - Make a Joy Journal

Blog author, Jodie Foster, who writes Inntuitive Innovations had a neat little post yesterday titled, "A Pink Bra Says It All".  She talks about the psychology of color and how it effects our emotions.

I just absolutely loved this picture she put up with this pink bra hangin' in the wind. I don't know what it is but this picture  just makes me smile with joy and incites feelings of happy freedom.  And...it got me thinking more about joy.

As you know or may be learning... without joy....and without charging ourselves up full of buzzing joy particles it makes it impossible to manifest our desires.  Abraham, gives us a bunch of great games to play to help us charge our joy particles.  This picture made me think of another little 'game' to play to help keep the joy particles charged up.

It's kind of like a dream journal or dream board but you just put pictures in it that make you smile or give you happy buzzy feelings... or even warm fuzzy feelings (I'm leaning towards happy buzzy... feel the difference between happy buzzy and warm fuzzy?).   You could put pictures of anything....family pictures, pictures from magazines...pictures you print off the web... or you can even put words.  If daisies make you smile you could even put a pressed daisy in it. 

So, this would be a companion to your dream journal/board.  Fill it with everything that brings you joy or puts a smile on your face.  When you're feeling a little down and you need an excercise to recharge your joy particles pick up your Joy Journal or your Joy Book and take a looksy.

This picture of the pink bra would for sure be in my Joy Journal - Book.  Another picture I would put in it is a picture my mother has of my step-father on Halloween where he dressed up as what we affectionally call "El Mariachi" - The Mexican Wrestler.  That huge sombrero with the Speedos,  combat boots and crooked fake mustache (see I'm smiling already)...Oiy!!  She keeps this picture on her refridgerator and to this day (almost 10 years later) I cannot help but smile when I see it.

I'm really beginning to fully understand the power of joy and humor.  It really is contagious.  Have you ever heard how humor has proven healing abilities?  Just do some research on Dr. Patch Adams  (did you see the movie with Robin Williams?)  Makes perfect sense to me!!

On that note...speaking of humor and joy.  I have been helping my little guy put a web site together and this little web site is just the most humorous thing... it makes me smile, giggle and laugh every time I visit it or work on it.  I'll give you the url but remember... these are the ideas of an 8yr. old boy so pardon the bathroom humor...everything on the site is his ideas:  www.fartifacts.com and if that one's not enough for you you can visit the companion site www.farting-preacher.com

Yesterday I got an email from a lady who came across the site and was just absolutely roaring with fantastic comments.  But the one that stood out to me was that she said she was sending the url to her friends in Iraq because they could use some good comic relief.  It elates me to know that my joy has the ability to touch another and ignite more feelings of joy... to know that I helped someone charge their particles makes me feel like I'm fulfilling my purpose on this planet.  Ahhhhh... and that makes me joyful :-)

So, again... get that Joy Journal going and any time you feel that you need to charge your joy particles go pick that thing up and get a smile on your face.

Isn't the power of joy amazing?!!  I'm off to go start my Joy Journal!!!

Celebrity Debut

I watched 'Celebrity Debut' the other night on TV .  Did you see that?  It had such an impact on me.  This show was about celebrities before they made it.  It showed interviews and other stuff they had done waaaay before they became famous.  It was so interesting to see them and hear their thoughts about becoming successful way before they actually met their success. 

They were all just regular ol' people like you and me following a dream.  How neat it was to hear them full of wonder and doubt and hope and feeling insecure.   How neat it was to hear of their struggle to pay the bills (that's odd... I just typed bliss intstead of bills... hmmmm),  repeated 'failures' and wonderment of what it would be like to really make it.

They didn't have Jim Carrey's story which is probably one of my favorites though.  He was literally living out of his car.  At some point during that time he wrote a check to himself for $1,000,000 for 'Services Rendered' and post dated it.  And, as the story goes, it was almost exactly to the date that he posted on the check that he was able to cash it.

I guess my point is... is that sometimes it seems almost unbelievable to see ourselves "walking down the red carpet"... We walk around with all that same wonder and doubt and discouragement and, "wouldn't it be nice if...".  Yet we see just how possible it is.   Sometimes we look at successful people like movie stars, sports figures, millionaires, etc... as if that's the way they've always been.  But for 99% of them they were literally just regular ol' people following a dream that had that special moment that allowed them to cross over to stardom.  And, once that moment happened it was as if the Universe came rushing in and propelled them like a rocket to their dreams and beyond.

This takes me way back to a memory of a time when I was in my early 20's when I went on this bus trip to a convention.  It was some MLM thing that my friend dragged me along to.  I went for the free trip and free food- really!  But, I have to say, by the time I left I my head was really reeling with thoughts of what it would be like to be a bazillionaire.  One person after another after another got up on that stage and told their rags-to-riches story. 

But, what I remember most about that trip was on the way home in the bus everyone was asked to get up and talk about what they left with from the convention and I'll never forget this one woman that stood up and shared her realization of, "Why not me?".  Not as it, "why can't I have all that too" but as in, "there's no reason why I can't have all that too".

She realized that had been walking around looking at successful people, movie stars, etc... as something that was certainly unattainable for her...that it was something that happened to other people .... that some people were just lucky and others weren't.... as if it was just the way they were and the way she was which was just an engineer for a corporation... Kind of like comparing apples to oranges so to speak.  She realized that in reality it was really apples to apples. 

So that's kind of what the story of Celebrity Debut and the broad on the bus reveal for me.  That really movie stars and regular folks with a dream are no different from one another.  Those that have made it are no different from you or I.  They have just merely crossed over the line from regular person to stardom.  Ahhhh yes, I know what you're thinking..."Then how do you cross over the line?"  - That, my friends, is my holy grail which I myself am seeking the answer to.

However, my ultimate point is, "Why not me?", "Why not you?".  Remember that's 'not' as in 'can't'... it's as in 'no reason why I can't'.  And remember, when you see some famous person try and remember where they came from know that it wasn't always fame and fortune for them... that there was often a lot of struggle and failure along the way.

Charge Your Particles - Joy is a Magnet

I love this quote by Abraham that I've shared today:
"If you have the ability to desire it, the Universe has the ability to deliver it. You've just got to line up with what you want, which means—be as happy as you can be as often as you can be there, and let everything else take care of itself."  ~ Expressed by Abraham-Hicks

It coincides perfectly with what I wanted to talk about today which is 'Attraction'.  Somewhere out of the corner of my eye while skimming around on the web I caught the words "Attraction" and "Charged Particles" and I had a light bulb go off in my head and got me to thinking...

I began thinking about a magnet and how it attracts things to it.  By the very law of it, it cannot keep itself from it's attractive force.  This got me thinking more so I looked up the definition of attraction and here is what I found (interestingly):

        Attraction-  4 n. "The electric or magnetic force exerted by oppositely charged particles, tending to draw or hold the particles together."

        Attraction - n. "A force acting mutually between particles of matter to draw them together and to resist their separation."

Abraham repeatedly interjects what the power of joy has on the ability to attract our desires.  The last couple of weeks I've found myself in a real funk.  I'd almost go so far as to say that I have felt very depressed.  The good thing out of it is my ability to recoginize how depression affects one's ability to manifest.  I'm typically a very happy person so these past couple of weeks have been an interesting experiment in observing the effects of depression vs. joy.

Experiencing joy is like walking around charged... charged with particles buzzing intensely around.  Experiencing depression is like wearing a heavy wet blanket... dull and dreary...no particles.

So, when Abraham says, "...You've just got to line up with what you want, which means—be as happy as you can be as often as you can be there, and let everything else take care of itself."  we can see how perfectly this personifies the magnet example.  Without charged particles (like in a state of depression) there is no attraction... the magnet has nothing to attract.  And when the particles are charged... like when you're experiencing joy...just line up with what you want ... and let everything else take care of itself.   By the law of physics... the magnet cannot not attract the charged particles... it just happens.  Imagine that the magnet is your desire and you are the charged particles.  You cannot be drawn to the magnet (your desire) if the particles (you) are not charged. Again, by the laws of phyics... it absolutely positively cannot happen. (Or, you can look at it the other way around as you as the magnet... whatever works for you)

I love that second definition of attraction: "A force acting mutually between particles of matter to draw them together and to resist their separation."

...to draw them together and resist their seperation... hmm.. that's good stuff.

So if one is walking around not experiencing joy and charging up their particles you and your desires CANNOT be drawn together.

I can really see now how hard it is to even try and experience joy when you're feeling so depressed but I certainly see the huge importance of it.  Abraham, in his book, Ask And It Is Given, gives tons of little 'games' to play to induce a charge of joy.  Even if you're soooo depressed Abraham's game of "Rampage of Appreciation" helps to incite a charge.  If you are unware of this game all you have to do is simply look around the room (or wherver you are) and state what you like, what makes you happy or what you're thankful for.  For example... I can look around my room and think, "I love my bedroom furniture.... it makes me happy because it's so beautiful and it's all mine." or "I love that photograph on my dresser of my son as a baby sitting in the bluebonnets... it reminds me of a beautiful moment in my life.".

So...for goodness sake (or should I say prosperity's sake)... keep those particles charged... even if all you can do is lay in bed and notice how nice a picture on your dresser is.  That act in itself is like a magnet attracting other like parcticles to it.

Ok... off to work on getting out of my funk and recharging my particles of joy!!!

Smack the Pooty Out of Your Desires Pinata

I wanted to share something that struck such a profound chord in me last night.  In my continued reading of "Ask and It is Given" by Esther and Jerry Hicks,  Abraham's process #16 for manifesting abundance, "Pivoting", uncovered for me a huge missing link in the process of the laws of attraction.

As I continue to learn I now know how we often unintentionally or inadvertantly focus on the lack, or rather, we unintentionally/accidentally focus on the the opposite of what it is that we want.  For example, even though my desire is to be financial secure my actual attention and focus is on the lack.  And, as we know, through h the laws of attraction, what you get in return is more lack. 

I find that concept a hard one to balance.  I know what I want but I have to be extremely concious and aware to not accidentally focus on the lack thereof.

Abarahm's explanation of "Pivoting" has really shed some light on this one for me.   He says, "It is possible to be foucused in vibrational opposition to what you really desire without knowing you are.  It is like the opposite end of a stick.  When you pick up up a stick, you pick up both ends.  This Pivoting Process will help you be more aware of which end of the your stick you are currently activating:  the end that is about what you want, or the end that is about the absence of what you want."

He continues further and says, "Whenever you know what you do not want, you also know even more clearly what you do want; and whenever you know what you do want, you also know even more clearly what you do not want ... At first, your awareness of what you do not want helps you identify what you do want; in other words, as you speak the words of your desire, your vibration may not match your words, but if you will continue the process of Pivoting--that is, if, whenver you feel negative emotion, which helps you know that you are focused upon something unwanted, you will stop and say, I know what I don't want, so what is it that I do want? 

He says, "Pivot from what is unwanted to what is wanted."   So for me, this is when the light bulb went off.  I picture myself picking up "the stick" of my desires which we now know has on one end with what I want, and on the other end it holds the absence of what I want.  I imagine the stick pivoting so that one end (the want end) is pointing in an upwad and outward direction before me in front of my eyes while the other end (the lack/absence) end points downward and away from me.  I kind of picture it like I'm holding a large staff in the air.

On the end of the stick/staff that is in front of my eyes, pointing upward I picture brightly colored bands with each color labeled with one of my many desires.  It makes it impossible to not focus on these brightly colored bands.... therefore your attention/your focus stays on what you do want and not accidentally or inadvertantly focused on what you do not want.

In an odd analogy, I picture this stick to look like a pinata buster.  You Texas folk will for sure know what I'm talking about...  but ya know... in theory your desire stick is kind of like a pinata buster.  The end of the stick  (the nice big pretty colorful part ) is where your focus is so that you may smack the pooty out of that big pretty pinata of your desires hard enough to bust 'it' open so that your desires come pouring forth and rain down upon you... and that you scurry like a little child to scoop up all your goodies.

Yep, I know what you're thinking.... but it's such a great analogy for me :-)

 

Big Girls Don't Cry

Tonight I saw an interview with Frankie Valli (did you know he's 72?!) on Entertainment Tonight and I just loved what he said to the interviewer in regard to his success.  When talking about his early beginnings the interviewer said, "Did you ever imagine all this?" and he said, "I never imagined it any differently.".

What a beautiful example of the laws of attraction and manifesting abundance.

And on that note, probably one of his most popular songs was "Big Girls Don't Cry".... and for whatever reason I was led to a memory  of a saying that I heard this guy on a teleconference once say... he says that he has a little reminder phrase that he uses when he's got his eye on the goal/dream and he hits a bump.  He says, "Charlie.Mike."  Which in the phonic alphabet are letters C and M... which for him stands for Continue the Mission.

He says that he uses it as a check-in reminder when he runs into an obstacle or a setback on the path to his goal/dream.  When he gets knocked down he just picks himself up and affirmatively proclaims, "Charlie. Mike." (continue the mission).  There is no seeing the outcome any differently than he has always envisioned.. he just continues on.

So for me personally, the message is, "Big girls don't cry when the goin' gets rough... they pick themselves up, dust themselves off, lace up their combat boots and simply continue the mission because they believe, know, trust that there is only (and only ever was) the successful outcome that they have always envisioned." 

I say to you, "Charlie. Mike."  Giving up is not an option.

On a silly side note I would have sworn that Frankie Valli sang "The Lion Sleeps Tonight"... (which by the way if you were wondering or are a ding dong like me, it was 'The Tokens' 1961).  As I was digging for that information I accidentally stumbled across this little video and it just made me smile so I thought I'd share it here :-)
